Power-to-weight ratio. Ask a tradesperson for an opinion about a power tool and you''re likely to hear how powerful it is for its weight. Most of us want as much power as we can get for the weight we carry. It''s easy to feel the difference between webcodrillpress the most powerful and the least powerful drills, but it''s harder to judge power in relation to weight. I calculated power-to-weight ratios by dividing each tool''s torque rating by its weight. That allowed me to compare drills on the basis of inch-pounds of torque per pound of weight. I used the manufacturer''s torque specs but weighed the tools myself. VARIABLE LOAD: 6,500 kips.OTHER DATA: Typical Chiles Columbus.WORK AREA: N/AChina Offshore OilNorthern Drilling Co. The loss of two rigs results from the deletion of two webcodrillpress listings. No additional newbuildings were added.Low crude prices continued to cut offshore operators'' drilling budgets webcodrillpress in 1999, as reflected by reduced utilization and dayrates that continued the low levels of late 1998. The U.S. Gulf of Mexico saw rate cuts approaching 50% of early-1998 levels, as did Africa and and Asia. Even the North Sea saw cuts of more than 20%. ©2003 www.drill-press.net All rights reserved. |
