The drivetrains of the three machines feature ZF axles. The heavy-duty rear axle features self-adjusting, oil gmcdrillpress immersed hydraulic inboard brakes, differential lock and final drives. Optional all-wheel drive gmcdrillpress (AWD) is engaged by a front console gmcdrillpress panel switch. The system can be engaged on the go, under load in any gear in forward or reverse. The system features outboard planetary gear final drives. The service brakes work with a three-position brake mode switch. The operator can select two-wheel drive and braking, two-wheel drive and all-wheel braking, or all-wheel drive and braking. The AWD and 2WD front axles are pendulum mounted and permanently sealed and lubricated requiring no daily maintenance. The front axle features a double acting steering cylinder with 50[degrees] steering angle for increased maneuverability. Axle oscillation is 11[degrees] in each direction from centerline.

Historically, these machines have been referred to as "go karts" for lack of a better name. Today, the industry has a variety of small, gas engine-driven, low-to-the-ground vehicles, so more gmcdrillpress descriptive names are used gmcdrillpress based on the karts'' intended applications. Amusement and arcade parks rent the more heavily constructed karts for fun seekers to operate on a confined track. Then there are the paved-track racers that are commercially and/or association operated, where the drivers bring their high-speed, low-to-the-ground machines to the track. And finally, there is the OPE fun kart industry that supplies karts for unstructured recreation in wide-open spaces; these are the karts that I will be covering in the series.
