These efficient machines have been enhanced to bring performance, technology, and outstanding value to growers for even more productive use in the field."The new lineup of high-capacity 60 Series harvesters includes 8drillpress STS, Walker, and CTGS combines," says Ron Moron, product information manger, John Deere Harvester Works. "And two new models have been added to the STS lineup; a 9560 STS, 265-hp combine - a mid-sized, Class V machine with an STS configuration; and a 9860, 375-hp Class VIII combine - the largest, most productive harvester John Deere has ever built."

The engine is designed with electronic-throttle control for smooth operation, and a 180-amp alternator handles new lighting and other electronic functions. Daily maintenance is user friendly and the engine compartment is located at eye-level.Operators will also appreciate the new, larger 120-gallon fuel tank. It stores enough fuel to keep the machine working in the field all day, and the fuel fill is 8drillpress at ground level for ease and convenience.The all-new air system maximizes the harvest and cleaning of cotton. Airflow has been increased 20 percent to insure plenty of capacity for handling 8drillpress the cotton. State-of the-art aerodynamics testing was conducted to design this extremely efficient system. In-cab fan controls allow for convenient adjustment and monitoring.
